No glass of any kind allowed on the festival site, including camping and parking areas. We are VERY serious about this rule – THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. Leave your glass bottles, cups, plates, mugs, etc. at home! Bring beverages in cans or plastic, or transfer them to thermal coolers prior to entering the festival grounds. Glass will be confiscated and we reserve the right to ask you to leave the festival grounds if you do not comply with this rule.
No pets of any kind are allowed on the festival site. This includes camping and parking areas. For everyone’s peace of mind and safety, pets are not allowed on the grounds, in the parking areas, and are definitely not allowed to sit in vehicles during the festival. Leave your pets at home! We reserve the right to ask you to leave if you bring an animal or leave one in your car. Area kennels can be found by searching maps.google.com for kennels near Brandon, VT. The only exception is for working service animals in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
NO SMOKING OUTSIDE OF THE DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA
Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoker’s corral, situated in sight of the Main Stage. Anyone found smoking outside the corral will be herded into it. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the festival if you do not comply with this rule.
PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES AND OTHERS
SolarFest belongs to all of us. While at the festival please pitch in wherever you see a need. Pick up after yourself, others, and around your campsite – each year we find a stunningly small amount of trash left behind, a record we are proud to keep. Please do your part to keep SolarFest a model of respecting the earth and its human and non-human inhabitants.
WRISTBANDS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES
Everyone must wear a wristband at all times during the festival. Do not remove yours unless you want to buy another one. We know wrist bands can be inconvenient and annoying, and we are certainly aware that they are not environmentally attuned. However, they are the way we keep ourselves accountable. The only valid wristband is the one on your wrist! Those without a valid wristband will be escorted to the main gate to purchase one or be asked to leave the festival grounds.
RESPECT ONE ANOTHER
If you decide to camp, be aware that tent walls are thin, and respect for the folks of all ages who come here includes keeping quiet after midnight and not using disrespectful language. SolarFest stays a joyful event if we respect each other.
YOU MUST BE A SOLARFEST VENDOR TO SELL ANYTHING
There is no vending outside the official festival vending areas. If you are interested in becoming a registered vendor, please go to our vendor information page to learn about vending opportunities and responsibilities.
