SolarFest 2012 T-Shirt Design Contest
Announcing the 2012 SolarFest T-Shirt Design Contest!
This contest is to create a design for the official 2012 SolarFest T-Shirt. The winning design will adorn all of our 2012 T-Shirts, both for staff and for our sales booth. Designs should have a sustainability or renewable energy theme and be compatible with our 2012 t-shirt colors – T.S. Designs sunlight (custom), southern red, soft black, and our 2012 sales color – add color here. Email Patty at pkenyon@solarfest.org with questions or for more information.
Contest timeline is as follows:
Designs will be accepted starting Friday, February 10 until Midnight eastern standard time on Saturday, March 10, 2012. Eligible submissions will be posted on Sunday, March 11. Public voting will take place from March 11, through March 21, 2012. Contest winner will be announced on Friday, March 23, 2012.
Prizes:
The winning designer will receive the following prizes:

| ♦ | $50 in Food Coupons to use at SolarFest 2012 |

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Submissions will be pre-screened to make sure that they meet the following requirements.
| ♦ | Email all design submissions to tshirtcontest@solarfest.org |
| ♦ | Designs must include our signature SolarFest lettering (font base is AprilleDisplayCap) as well as the year 2012 and room to add a tagline. (If you have a tagline idea add it in -we might love it!) |
| ♦ | Design must be submitted as a 300 x 300 pixel jpeg image at 150 dpi for posting on the web. |
| ♦ | To ensure that the winning design is print ready, entries must also include design files in EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) format. |
| ♦ | For continuity for judging – all designs should be placed on a light yellow background (specs R254 G235 B147 or C0 M3 Y50 K0). |
| ♦ | Design must be compatible with staff shirt colors (T.S. Designs - Southern Red, Sunlight (custom), Soft Black) as well as our chosen sales shirt color of (add shirt color here) |
